  1. Hi, I wanted to know what was the difference between +7 and 7s when it came to block frames ! Thanks a lot

  2. Hi,

    Another potentially tricky one…

Where the Hunting Hawk move is, there is a move “u/f+3, 4 (when second hit inputted)”. I guess this means hitting 4 too late to do the u/f+3, 4 move with 2 hits but can you tell me how is this different from the regular move “u/f+3”? I don’t see any difference in the animation? What does 4 (when second hit inputted) mean and do?
The data is mostly the same for both but it seems worse for frames on block, -13~-12 instead of -6~-5. The start up frames 28~29 are also missing.
    Am I misunderstanding something?

    Thanks!

  3. Hi,
There are 2 instances of f+3, the Start up frame for the first is 13~ and the other is 18~19 4~. The first is in the middle of the normal stance section and is L Flam Feint but the second occurs at the end of the RFF section / start of the LFS section. Is there stance notation missing, is it also meant from normal stance, why is the frame date different?
Similar thing on f, n+4 23~ for R Flam Feint then occurs again between the LFS and RFS sections but shows ~1.
Also could you expand on 18~19 4~? What is the 4~ at the end for?
    Thanks!

    1. Good questions. There is a multiple f+3 since the second one is a kind of heading for the LFS section describing how you get into it.
Other than that, I don’t really have any good answers. The data was kept from a translation of ina wiki. Maybe someone else knows.

  4. This is a nice site and all, but where do I read what all of these notations mean?
For example this page says that Hwoarangs d+3,4 is +8~+12 on block. So what is it? +8 or +12?

    1. It will usually be the lowest. It has 5 active frames,so if it hits on the last it will be +12

  5. LFS b+4 m(RFF) 28 16~17 -8~-7 +7~+8 hKZD
why does this say 28 damage
    its 21
    is 28 from 7.0?

    1. I think it means the move itself is 16 frames, but you will also have to use at least 3 frames for the input (f,N,d/f). So a move will have to be at least -19 for you to punish with skyrocket

      1. Oh. Thanks.

Holy shit, skyrocket is that slow? That’s the problem with Hwo. Not only are a lot of moves hard to use (input wise) like JFSR and f,n,df+3+4 but they’re also incredibly slow.

  6. Regarding RFS d4, I think it’s way unsafer compared to -15. I’ve seen someone punish it with a delayed hopkick.

    1. They’re gone.. no idea why. I tried many many times to do them when I played the game haha

  7. Is RFS 2,3 – 2,4- 2,B4 – 2,4,3- and 2,4F still in Hwoarang’s move list. also, in RFS I notice that he still has the 8 frame F4 but in LFS the 8 frame F3 has been replaced by something else. Am I looking at this correct?

    1. LFS f+3 has been replaced by baek’s old move FLA f+3. It really sucks because LFS f+3 used to be essential in keeping faster moves and ss in check =(

All other RFS 2 jab strings are still in the game of course, with similar properties

  8. Is RFS 2,3 2,4 2,B4 2,4,3 and 2,4F still in Hwoarang’s move list. also, in RFS I notice that he still has the 8 frame F4 but in LFS the 8 frame F3 has been replaced by something else. Am I looking at this correct?
